Independent Pro Agreement

Main terms

You are an independent business, not an employee. You decide how to do the work and are responsible for your own taxes, permits and tools.

Everything you send in this application is true. False information ends the account and may be reported to the authorities.

You keep a valid license (where required) and liability insurance. Expired documents pause new jobs.

You are responsible for damage, loss or injury you cause while doing a job booked here.

If we refund a customer under the Guarantee, or a damage claim against you is confirmed, you authorize us to deduct that amount from your pending and future payouts. You always see the claim and can send your evidence before the decision.

If your payouts don't cover the amount, you agree to pay the balance within 30 days. Unpaid amounts may be sent to collection or to court in the county where the job was done.

You are paid through EzFix after the job is validated: the customer pays EzFix first, and we release your payout once the customer approves and the 48-hour Guarantee window closes with no claim. EzFix keeps a fixed 10% of the service price on every job.

Customers you meet through EzFix are served and paid only through EzFix. Sharing contact details, or taking a customer or a payment outside the app, ends your account and may make you liable for the fee that would have been due.

Your data is used to verify you, pay you and resolve disputes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Background check authorization

You authorize us and our background check provider to obtain a consumer report about you (identity, criminal records, sex offender registry and, when relevant, driving record), now and while you use the platform, to decide whether you can receive jobs. You'll get a copy of any report used against you and can dispute it. The full legal disclosure (FCRA) is shown before the check starts.

Face verification consent

We use your selfie and ID photo only to confirm you are the person on the document and to prevent fraud. The images are never sold and are deleted within 3 years after your last job, or sooner when no longer needed.

Signature

Pros accept this agreement in the app by checking each consent and typing their full name. The server records the time and the version accepted.
